MDE-OSE Kent County Parent Focus Group

On Monday, May 12, 2025, from 5:00- 8:00 p.m. the Kent ISD is hosting the Michigan Department of Education- Office of Special Education (MDE-OSE) for a Kent County Parent Focus Group.  During the meeting, the legal requirements for special education will be reviewed, as well as, parents will be able to share their experiences and participation in the IDEA required activities of IEP Team meetings, evaluations, and Manifestation Determination Reviews.
